About RPKIViews
RPKIViews discovers and stores all the world's RPKI data. Our guiding principle is to support future and unforeseen use cases by making the world's RPKI data easily accessible in original form. RPKI material is collected globally from multiple topologically and geographically diverse vantages points using both rsync and RRDP synchronization.
Praise
"Rpkiviews contained exactly the data I needed to investigate and conclusively explain a customer-affecting incident." - Jeff Wheeler, Network Architect
"We infer RIR's signing and publication delays from the RPKIviews archive." - Romain Fontugne, Senior Researcher (PAM'23)
The Rpkispool Format
The rpkispool method is a modern approach for materialization of RPKI data in order to support a range of use cases such as auditing Certification Authorities and analytical research. Rpkispools can be used for high-latency replication of raw RPKI data and associated validation states as efficiently compressed durable objects. The method uses widely available standardized tooling (ustar, Zstandard, and CCR) and is designed to support long-term preservation of RPKI data in a cost-effective way.
